Roadrunners Announce Staffing Changes
DENVER – MSU Denver Director of Athletics Todd Thurman announced three staffing changes within the Roadrunners Athletics Department.
Jerrid Oates has been promoted to Deputy Director of Athletics. Oates is a long-time member of th Roadrunners Athletics Department having previously served as Associate Director of Athletics for Operations. He joined the MSU Denver staff in 2011 as the Head Baseball Coach before transitioning to administration. Oates' promotion will be effective on January 1.
"Jerrid is a valued member of this department, and this promotion recognizes his substantial contributions to our success," said Thurman. "He has proven himself as a leader within the department and we are looking forward to expanding his role."
Heather Racine has also been promoted to Head Athletic Trainer. Racine has been an Assistant Athletic Trainer since 2022. She assumed the role beginning December 1.
"Heather has proven herself in athletic training," said Thurman. "She will do a great job leading this area for us."
Eric Lansing has been promoted to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications. Lansing is a graduate of MSU Denver and has been a full-time member of the athletics staff since October, 2009.
"Eric embodies everything that it means to be a Roadrunner," said Thurman. "He has been the voice of the Roadrunners for 15 years. Eric has earned this promotion, and it is well deserved."
