@MSUDenverBSB: Yuran Earns RMAC Player of the Week Honors

DENVER -- MSU Denver Roadrunners senior outfielder Cam Yuran has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Player of the Week the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

This is the third RMAC baseball Player of the Week in a row for the Roadrunners after Jesse Velders and Drew Peters took home the honor the last two weeks. 

Yuran had an unbelievable weekend at the plate, going 11-for-15 with 6 HR's, 13 RBIs, 15 runs, 5 walks, and 2 stolen bases. He belted two home runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

The Denver native has reached base safely in his last 30 games and has raised his batting average to .426 on the year, which ranks second in the RMAC, only trailing teammate Andrew Graham who is hitting .465 on the season. He does lead the conference in four other statistical categories while also ranking inside the top-5 for others. 

Yuran leads the RMAC in OBP (.582), OPS (1.556), runs (62), and walks (44). He also ranks 2nd in SLG (.974), 4th in RBIs (52), and 3rd in HR's (17).

MSU Denver is set for a four-game series with CSU Pueblo on the road this weekend as they near the end of the regular season.
