DENVER -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners baseball team has earned an at-large bid in the South Central region for the Division II NCAA Baseball Tournament and will take on #3 seed Colorado Mesa Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. MT, in Tyler, Texas. This will be the fourth consecutive game in a row against the Mavericks for the Roadrunners.

The Roadrunners ended the season with a 33-22 overall record and 22-10 in RMAC play. They went 3-2 in the conference tournament this last weekend with wins over #1 Colorado Mesa, #2 Regis, and #3 CSU Pueblo. They lost two games to CMU on championship Saturday, falling short of the conference title, but did enough to secure a spot in the postseason.

This is the third time in the last four years the Roadrunners have made the NCAA Tournament.

MSU Denver gets in as the final team as the no. 6 seed in the South Central region and will face off against the only other RMAC opponent in the tournament.
