@MSUDenverBSB: Roadrunners Complete Sweep Over Colorado School of Mines

DENVER -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners

DENVER -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners took down the Colorado School of Mines Sunday afternoon by a score 9-6, completing the four-game sweep over their RMAC counterpart. 

The Roadrunners are now back to .500 at 13-13 overall and 5-3 in RMAC conference play. The Orediggers fall to 10-19 overall and 5-7 in the RMAC. 

Brad Helton took the bump Sunday for the Red and Blue and tossed a quality seven innings, allowing three earned runs while striking out four on the way to his second win of the season. Carter Swan shut the door in the ninth, giving MSU Denver the win and his third save of the weekend. 

Junior Tyler Tobey recorded his first multi-hit game of the season, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs, two runs, and a walk. He had a two-RBI double in the fifth inning. 

Andrew Graham also had a two-RBI double of his own in the first inning, capturing the first Roadrunner lead of the game. Graham went 2-for-5 on the afternoon, capping off his big weekend at the plate. 

Outfielder Andrew Biddle was the other Roadrunner with multiple hits in this one, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double. Jesse Velders reached base four times, going 1-for-2 with three walks.
