DENVER — The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) announced their baseball All-Region teams Monday evening, which saw four Roadrunners (one first team, three second team) earn spots on the South Central Region squads.

Andrew Graham was the lone MSU Denver player to be honored with a first team spot as the only second baseman. Cam Yuran, Jesse Velders, and Erubiel Ortiz all earned second team honors.

The Roadrunners ended their season last weekend after falling to Colorado Mesa and UT Tyler in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Despite the early exit, MSU Denver ended the year with a 33-24 overall record, including going an impressive 22-10 in RMAC play, and also clinched a spot in the championship game of the conference tournament.

Graham was unstoppable at the plate for the Roadrunners, batting his way into the top 5 in batting average in the conference at a .446 clip, which also led MSU Denver. He hit 14 home runs, with 78 RBIs, scored 71 times, and had the most doubles in the conference with 27. He ranked top 10 in the RMAC for AVG (.446), slugging (.832), OBP (.537), OPS (1.369), runs (71), hits (82), RBIs (78), doubles (27), and stolen bases (12).

Yuran soared up the rankings this season in just about every category in the program record books, ending his illustrious career with the Roadrunners. He slashed a line of .358/.514/.797 with career-high marks for slugging and on-base percentage. Yuran also set career-high numbers this season with 21 home runs and 69 RBIs. He ranked top-10 in the RMAC in slugging (.797), OBP (.514), OPS (1.418), runs (84), RBIs (69), doubles (17), and led the league with 57 walks.

The sweet-swinging lefty is now MSU Denver's all-time leader in hits (268), runs (276), RBIs (234), doubles (68), walks (174), total bases (522), slugging percentage (.746), and home runs (61).

Velders finished the regular season with a line of .359/.495/.667 in 44 games played. Despite battling through injury during the season, he had 9 home runs, 36 RBIs, and 47 runs. His .495 on-base percentage ranked third on the team only behind Graham and Yuran. He earned RMAC Player of the Week honors in the first week of April for his four-homer performance in the series against Adams State.

Another staple at the top of the lineup for the Roadrunners was newcomer Erubiel Ortiz. He slashed .359/.432/.628 on the campaign with 12 home runs and 59 RBIs. Ortiz led the team with 83 hits, which ranked fourth in the RMAC.

Ortiz played the hot corner for MSU Denver this year and carried a .951 fielding percentage, making nine errors in 183 total chances. He was named to the All-RMAC gold glove team.
