@MSUDenverBSB: Roadrunners Drop Final Game of Series to CSUP

PUEBLO, Colo. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners struggled in the series finale with the CSU Thunder Wolves Saturday afternoon, falling by a score of 12-4, and split the series on the road.

PUEBLO, Colo. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners struggled in the series finale with the CSU Thunder Wolves Saturday afternoon, falling by a score of 12-4, and split the series on the road. 

The Roadrunners are now 25-17 overall and 17-7 in RMAC play. The Thunder Wolves improve to 25-17 overall and 15-9 in RMAC play. 

MSU Denver scored all of their runs in this contest yesterday in the first inning, before they continued play today. They went up 4-3 headed into today, but that is all they could muster. CSUP scored nine runs in the six innings of play on Saturday. 

Andrew Graham and Andrew Biddle notched the only extra base-hits of the game for the Roadrunners, as Graham hit an RBI double in the first to score Jesse Velders.

Cam Yuran did not record a hit but did walk twice, and has now extended his on-base streak to 34 games. 

Drew Peters was tabbed with the loss after allowing six runs in 2.1 innings of work.

Head coach Ryan Strain and his squad will play their final home series of the season next weekend against UCCS, with game one coming Friday at 6 p.m. MT.
