@MSUDenverBSB: Roadrunners Eighth in Region Poll
GOLDEN, Colo. – MSU Denver moved up to one spot this week and is at No. 8 in the NCBWA South Central Region baseball rankings.
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association region poll isn't affiliated with the official NCAA region rankings which start late in the season and are eventually used to determine seedings and at-large qualifiers for the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA region rankings begin Wednesday.
MSU Denver (25-19 overall, 16-10 and second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) has won 12 of its last 15 games.
The Roadrunners conclude a series with Colorado Christian with a Monday doubleheader, then play a four-game home series against Colorado School of Mines over the weekend, with a single game at 6 p.m. Monday, a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday, and a single game Sunday at noon.
