@MSUDenverMBB: Four Roadrunners Tabbed With All-RMAC Honors
DENVER – Seniors Brayden Carter and Caleb McGill were named to the 2024-25 Men's Basketball All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team, the conference announced Thursday afternoon. Quave Propst-Allison and Logan Threatt were also named as All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Honorable Mentions.
Carter and McGill each averaged 14 points per game for the Roadrunners, with Carter (14.8) just edging out McGill (14.4) for the team lead in that category. Those numbers ranked 6th and 11th in the RMAC.
Carter also led his team with 238 total rebounds, while averaging 8.2 per game, good enough for the second-most in the league. His 86 offensive rebounds led the RMAC by a wide margin, with the next closest individual recording 69 offensive boards. Carter recorded 26 points in a win over South Dakota Mines, the most points scored by a Roadrunner in a single game during the 2024-25 season.
McGill led the Roadrunners in 3-point shooting percentage (45.5%) and blocks (28) on the year. He also averaged 7.3 rebounds a game and 1.7 assists. He also had seven double-digit rebound games this year, including a team-high 15 rebounds in their game against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Threatt (302 points, 104 rebounds) and Propst-Allison (280 points, 93 rebounds) ranked third and fourth for the Roadrunners in scoring and rebounding on their way to being named All-RMAC Honorable Mentions. Propst-Allison also led the squad in assists (74) and steals (27).
MSU Denver will wait to see if they did enough for a tournament bid before falling in their RMAC Championship Quarterfinal last night to Black Hills State at home. They sit at 19-10 overall and 13-7 in conference play.
