@MSUDenverMBB: No. 23 Roadrunners hold steady at No. 4 in regional ranking

INDIANAPOLIS – The Roadrunners men's basketball team ranks fourth in the South Central Region of this week's D2CSC Division II Media Poll.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Roadrunners men's basketball team ranks fourth in the South Central Region of this week's D2CSC Division II Media Poll. 
 
The regional poll is released every Monday, followed by the national poll every Tuesday. Each region has six representatives (two per conference) that comprise the regional poll. The national poll has 16 voters, two from each region. 
 
The Roadrunners defeated Western Colorado and Westminster at home to improve to 4-0 in conference and 9-1 overall.  
 
West Texas A&M, out of the Lone Star Conference, currently sits atop of the rankings with an 8-1 record, followed by Colorado School of Mines (RMAC) who are in the second spot with a 7-1 record. Dallas Baptist (Lone Star) remains in third with a 10-2 record. West Texas A&M lost their first game of the season last weekend, falling to Texas A&M-Kingsville. 
 
MSU Denver will head out on the road this weekend for non-conference action. Head coach Dan Ficke and his squad will take on Fort Hays State on Friday at 6 p.m., before heading to Kearney, Nebraska to battle the Lopers from Nebraska-Kearney on Sunday at Noon.
