COLORADO SPRINGS – It is time for the postseason as both of the men's and women's soccer teams are heading to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournaments.

COLORADO SPRINGS – It is time for the postseason as both of the men's and women's soccer teams are heading to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournaments. 
 
The women's team finished third in the final RMAC standings with an 8-2-2 record. They will be the three-seed and will host six-seeded Westminster University. The quarterfinal matchup will take place at the Assembly Athletic Complex on Sunday at Noon. The semifinals will take place in Golden on Wednesday, November 13 at 3:30 p.m., with the championship match also being held in Golden on Saturday November 16 at 6 p.m. 
 
Last season head coach Kat Mertz and her squad earned the fifth seed in the conference playoffs and fell to four-seeded Colorado Mesa 3-2 in Grand Junction. The last time MSU Denver hosted an RMAC Tournament game at home was in 2012 at Auraria Field, where they defeated Colorado Mesa 2-0 as the three-seed. The last time MSU Denver won the RMAC Tournament was in 2008 when they claimed their fourth conference tournament title in a 1-0 victory over cross-town rival Regis University.

The men's soccer team finished their regular season with a 4-4-2 RMAC record and earned the sixth seed in the tournament. They will head to Durango, Colorado to take on the Skyhawks from Fort Lewis. The quarterfinals game will take place this Sunday, November 10 with the Roadrunners playing at 5 p.m. The semifinals of the RMAC Tournament will take place on Wednesday, November 13 with the championship round either being played on Saturday, November 16 or on Sunday, November 17. 
 
Head coach Nick Kirchhof led the squad to the RMAC Tournament last season as the six-seed and fell to CSU Pueblo on the road by a final of 1-0. The Thunderwolves would go on and reach the NCAA Division II national championship game, losing to Minnesota State-Mankato. The last time the Roadrunners won the RMAC Tournament title was in 2004 when they defeated CSU Pueblo in Durango.
