@MSUDenverMTEN: Roadrunners Down FPU, Finish 2-1 in PacWest Tournament

SURPRISE, Ariz. — The MSU Denver Roadrunners men's tennis team took down Fresno Pacific by a score of 4-2 in their final PacWest conference tournament match up, and place fifth overall.

SURPRISE, Ariz. — The MSU Denver Roadrunners men's tennis team took down Fresno Pacific by a score of 4-2 in their final PacWest conference tournament match up, and place fifth overall.

The Roadrunners finish 12-13 overall and 6-4 in Pacific West play in their final match in program history. 

They finish 2–1 overall in the tournament with this win over FPU and Biola previously, while dropping their first match to Point Loma.

Just like their last match the Roadrunners were unable to claim the doubles point, but would win four matches in singles play to secure the victory.

Lluc Limongi Ollers, Alejandro Jimenez, Marco Jalalian, and Maximo Lawlor all took care of business in the miniminim two sets to go out in dominant fashion. 

Ollers beat Ravi Nelson 6-4, 6-3 and finishes the season with 20 overall wins, which was the most by a Roadrunner this season. 

Jimenez won 6-2, 6-3 over Cedric Kaufman. 

Jalalian took down his opponent Pablo Zubieta, dropping just two points (6-0, 6-2)

Lawlor closed it out for MSU Denver with a 6-0, 6-2 win of his own over Ryoma Okamoto on court five.
