This Week in Roadrunners Athletics

DENVER – The Roadrunners have a busy home weekend for the baseball and softball teams, each playing four games from Friday-Sunday. Men's tennis will also be in action down in Colorado Springs, where they will take on Hawaii-Hilo.

DENVER – The Roadrunners have a busy home weekend for the baseball and softball teams, each playing four games from Friday-Sunday. Men's tennis will also be in action down in Colorado Springs, where they will take on Hawaii-Hilo. 

BASEBALL 
Regis vs. MSU Denver, Friday (3 p.m.), Saturday (Noon, Doubleheader), Sunday (Noon)

Head coach Ryan Strain and his team will look to build off their four-game series sweep over Sioux Falls this past weekend. They have won five of their last six games and are up to 7-8 overall on the year. 

Senior infielder Easton Amundson was named RMAC Player of the Week yesterday by the conference after a stellar weekend at the plate. Amundson knocked in 11 runs while also belting three home runs. 

SOFTBALL
Colorado School of Mines vs. MSU Denver Saturday (Noon doubleheader), Sunday (11 a.m. doubleheader)

The Roadrunners have won their last six contests, most recently sweeping Adams State on the road this past weekend to move to 14-6 overall and 9-2 in RMAC play. Colorado School Mines has lost their last four games, and are 5-17 overall and 4-7 in RMAC play. 

MEN'S TENNIS 
Hawaii-Hilo vs. MSU Denver, Friday (2 p.m.), Saturday (11 a.m.)

MSU Denver is 4-7 overall on the year and will look to get back on track this weekend after dropping the last three matches. Hawaii-Hilo just recently played their first two matches of the spring, winning both to move to 2-0 early on.
