@MSUDenverTennis: Roadrunners Fall in Round of 16
AZUSA, Calif. – MSU Denver men's tennis players Lluc Limongi Ollers and Hector Cebrian Moral were both defeated in the round of 16 on Friday at the ITA West Regional.
Sixth-seeded Soeren Grandke of Azusa Pacific (Calif.) defeated Limongi Ollers 7-5, 6-4, while Cebrian Moral was beaten 6-0, 6-1 by top-seeded Elias Walter, also of host Azusa Pacific.
In the consolation bracket, MSU Denver's Alejandro Jimenez won twice to advance to the semifinals. Jimenez defeated Jon Ball of Westmont (Calif.) 6-2, 6-3 and Gregor Kliimask of Azusa Pacific 8-4.
