DENVER – The Roadrunners basketball teams will continue RMAC play this weekend on the road. 
 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

MSU Denver at South Dakota Mines, Thursday, 5:30 p.m.
MSU Denver at Black Hills State, Saturday, 1:00 p.m.
 
Head coach Tanya Haave and her squad will look to kick off the new year with a couple of wins on the road. They'll first take on the Hardrockers in Rapid City, South Dakota this Thursday, who are 1-10 overall on the season and 1-3 in conference play. Then it's on to Spearfish, South Dakota to face off against Black Hills State. The Yellow Jackets are tied for first in the RMAC with a 4-0 record and are 8-3 overall on the season. The Roadrunners are led by all-conference guard Mikylah Espinosa, who leads the team at 13.8 points per game and leads the RMAC in steals per game nabbing 3.7 per contest. 
 

MEN'S BASKETBALL

MSU Denver at South Dakota Mines, Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
MSU Denver at Black Hills State, Saturday, 3:00 p.m.
 
Head coach Dan Ficke leads his 22nd-ranked men's basketball team on the road this weekend as they venture to South Dakota. The Roadrunners are tied with the Colorado School of Mines for first place in the RMAC, as both teams sport a 4-0 record. MSU Denver will first battle South Dakota Mines on Thursday, who are 1-11 overall on the season and carry a 1-3 mark in the conference.  Then it will be a fight on Saturday with the Yellow Jackets from Black Hills State, who are 3-1 so far in RMAC play and are 7-5 overall. The Roadrunners are led by all-conference forward Caleb McGill, who leads the team in points (15.6) and in rebounds (8.6).
