COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – MSU Denver's Mikylah Espinosa has been named as one of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's "Players to Watch" for the 2024-25 season.
Espinosa was a First Team All-RMAC honoree last season after averaging 15.3 points per game. Espinosa's average placed her ninth in scoring the RMAC for the 2023-24 season. She became the first player in MSU Denver history to score 30 points in a game three times in the same season.
The 2024-25 RMAC Women's Basketball Preseason "Players to Watch" list includes any returning First and Second Team All-RMAC selections and the top player on each team without a returning All-RMAC selection, as nominated by their institution.
MSU Denver was picked to finish seventh in the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released last month.
The Roadrunners open the 2024-25 campaign on Friday, November 8 against Angelo State. Game time is set for 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at http://RoadrunnersAthletics.com/Tickets.
