DENVER – Baseball begins home schedule against the University of Mary this weekend.
SOFTBALL
Colorado Mesa at MSU Denver, 4-game set, Saturday (noon) & Sunday (11 am)
The Roadrunners will be at home for the second straight weekend to take on the Mavericks in a four-game set. MSU Denver is coming off a weekend where they went 3-0 against Fort Lewis, with their fourth game being cancelled due to low temperatures. The Roadrunners now sit at 8-4 on the season so far. The Mavericks are 4-6 overall, with their last series played against Regis, where the teams split 2-2.
BASEBALL
University of Mary at MSU Denver, 4-game series, Friday (Noon), Saturday (Noon), Sunday (Noon)
The Roadrunners will be back on the field after having the last weekend off. They are set to play the University of Mary, who has a record of 1-3 in the season thus far. The Roadrunners are coming off back-to-back road trips to Oklahoma, where they started their 2025 season 1-6. In the last series, the Roadrunners played Oklahoma Baptist, where they fell 0-4 on the weekend.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
MSU Denver at Regis, Saturday, 1:00 p.m.
The Roadrunners are hoping to bounce back after going 0-3 at home this previous weekend against Chadron State, South Dakota Mines, and the Colorado School of Mines. Head coach Tanya Haave and her squad will finish playing the remainder of the regular season on the road starting at Regis on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
MSU Denver at Regis, Saturday, 3:00 p.m.
The Roadrunners went 2-1 this past weekend at home, defeating both Chadron State and South Dakota Mines before falling to the Colorado School of Mines on Tuesday. With the two wins, the Roadrunners clinched a spot in the RMAC tournament, and they now sit at 12-5 in the conference. Head coach Dan Ficke and his squad will play Regis on Saturday, who is second in the RMAC with a 13-3 record. The two teams last played on January 21 where the Roadrunners fell 76-78 at home. MSU Denver will finish their regular season schedule on the road, starting with Regis, then playing CSU Pueblo and Colorado Christian.
MEN'S & WOMEN'S TENNIS
MSU Denver at Colorado College, Colorado Springs, CO
MSU Denver vs Barton County Community College, Colorado Springs, CO.
The men's and women's tennis teams will be back on the road to play in Colorado Springs this weekend. Last weekend, the teams made the trip to Nebraska to play Rockhurst University, Nebraska-Kerney, and Hastings College (Neb.) The women's team went 1-2 with the win over Hastings College (7-0), while the men's team went 2-1 with wins over both Rockhurst University (4-3) and Hastings College (7-0). Both teams will face Colorado College and Barton County Community College this weekend.
MEN'S & WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS
MSU Denver RMAC's Last Chance Qualifier – Gunnison, Colorado
Head coach Janis Christopher will take her teams to Western Colorado to try and improve on some times before the big RMAC Championship meet in two weeks. The squad saw some incredible performances at the Don Kirby meet in Albuquerque, New Mexico last weekend. Kenny Greene finished seventh in the men's 200 meters and broke the school record in a time of 21.47. Naleia Sowell also broke the program mark in the 200 meters crossing the line in 25.24 seconds. Sowell also won her heat in the women's 400-meter dash and would top the school record once again this time doing it in a time of 55.64 seconds.
