@MSUDenverWGOLF: Roadrunners Complete Day One at RJGA Palm Valley Classic

GOODYEAR, Ariz. --

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners women's golf team ended day one of the RJGA Palm Valley Classic Friday afternoon in 17th place, with a team score of +22. 

Izabella Pesicka led the way for the Red and Blue, finishing the day even, with 72 strokes total in 18 holes of play. She ended round one +2 over par and went -2 in round two. She is currently tied for ninth overall in the individual standings. 

Mackenzie Carpenter went +4 on the afternoon, with 76 total strokes. She currently sits 51st overall, the second highest finish of the day for MSU Denver.
