@MSUDenverWGOLF: RJGA Palm Valley Classic Wraps Up in Phoenix
GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners women's golf team completed the second round of the RJGA Palm Valley Classic Saturday afternoon with a team score of +27. They
end the tournament in 18th place, their final one before competing in the conference championship in two weeks.
Izabella Pesicka once again led the way for the Roadrunners, finishing the day 6 shots over par with 78 strokes total in 18 holes of play. She ends the tournament +6 over par and placed 34th overall in the individual standings.
Mackenzie Carpenter also shot six over par on the day with 78 total strokes. She finishes 53rd overall individually, the second highest score of the tournament for MSU Denver.
Callie Burns, Neige Dunn, and Ainsley Stover all shot only took one or two more strokes than Pesicka and Carpenter. Burns went +7 on the afternoon, while Dunn and Stover went +8.
