INDIANAPOLIS – The MSU Denver women's soccer team was selected to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 6-seed in NCAA DII South Central Regional.
INDIANAPOLIS – The MSU Denver women's soccer team was selected to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 6-seed in NCAA DII South Central Regional.
The Roadrunners are 10-3-7 overall and will face No. 3-seed Dallas Baptist on Friday, November 22 at 3 p.m. CST in San Angelo, Texas. The winner of the match will face Angelo State on Sunday, November 24.
"We have been talking about this since last year," said Head Coach Kat Mertz. "I've challenged them in sense of that we are not happy just to be here. We want to go to work. We are excited for the opportunity, but we are here to step up and play."
This selection marks the 15th time MSU Denver has qualified for the NCAA Tournament in school history and the first time since 2014.
