@MSUDenverSB: Jenna Medhus Named to the NFCA DII Player & Pitcher of the Year Watchlist.
DENVER -- MSU Denver's Jenna Medhus has been named to the 2025 NFCA DII Player & Pitcher of the Year watchlist, the NFCA announced Thursday afternoon.
Medhus is one of the 15 student-athletes named to the watchlist from the South Central Region. She is also just one of four athletes to be named from the RMAC.
The Colorado native has been superb for the Roadrunners, both in the circle and at the plate. Medhus is leading the team in just about every major hitting statistic along with the third most innings pitched on the team. She leads in batting average (.523), home runs (6), RBIs (28), OPS (1.618), SLG (1.062), and OBP (.556).
Medhus and her team await a massive conference showdown this weekend with the RMAC-leading Colorado Christian Cougars. The two teams will square off Friday and Saturday, playing a doubleheader each day.
