@MSUDenverWTEN: Roadrunners Flourish in PacWest Season Debut
FRESNO, Calif. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners kicked off their PacWest conference play with back-to-back wins against Menlo and Westmont Thursday afternoon.
The Red and Blue took down Menlo 4-0, while also proving victorious by a score of 6-1 over Westmont. Roadrunners improves to 8-7 overall and 2-0 in conference play. They also snap the three-match losing streak they had entering today.
Hanna Haber and Victoria Ricuarte-Cabas went a combined 8-0 on the day after winning both doubles points together on court no. 1, paving the way for the Roadrunners. Haber also went undefeated on court no. 1, doing it in the minimum of four sets. Ricaurte-Cabas handled both of her opponents on court no. 3.
