@MSUDenverTennis: Roadrunners Wrap Up Season with Comeback Victory

SURPRISE, Ariz. – The MSU Denver women's tennis team, playing without one of its top players, came from behind Thursday and wrapped up the season with a 4-2 victory over Colorado Mesa in a consolation dual at the Pacific West Conference Tournament.

SURPRISE, Ariz. – The MSU Denver women's tennis team, playing without one of its top players, came from behind Thursday and wrapped up the season with a 4-2 victory over Colorado Mesa in a consolation dual at the Pacific West Conference Tournament.
 
The ninth-seeded Roadrunners dropped the doubles point against 12th-seeded Mesa, but got singles victories from Hanna Haber (No. 2), Kambra Roles (No. 3), Courtenay Leonard (No. 4) and Monica Guarin (No. 5).
 
Roles, Leonard and Guarin all moved up in the lineup due to the absence of senior Lilly Stienemeier.
 
Roles won the clinching match 6-7 (2), 6-3, 6-2. It was Roles' first dual all season playing higher than No. 4 in the lineup.
 
MSU Denver finishes the season 11-12.
