The Roadrunners are now 10-10 overall and 4-3 in PacWest conference play. California State-Los Angeles falls to 1-10 overall while Azusa Pacific improves to 12-2.
Cal State LA earned the doubles point in match one, thanks to wins on courts No. 1 and 2. Kim Heddes and Bella Hernandez secured the win on court three (6-3) but would not count towards a team point.
Heddes would also win her singles match in two sets (6-4, 6-3), the only Roadrunner with multiple wins on the day.

Victoria Ricuarte-Cabas got a close comeback win in three sets (3-6, 6-4, 6-4) over Sarah Olmos that was the match-clincher for MSU Denver.
MSU Denver had a tough time against top-20 ranked Azusa, and were unable to record a team point in the match. Guarin and Louise Hosking were in the lead (5-4) on court two in doubles, but went unfinished due to the Cougars clinching the other two courts.
Hanna Haber won the first set on court one in singles (6-4) but was unable to finish the match before Azusa Pacific clinched the win.
