@MSUDenverWTEN: Roadrunners Fall on the Road to Biola
Box Score LA MIRADA, Calif. -- The MSU Denver Roadrunners dropped their PacWest match with the Biola Eagles Monday afternoon by a score of 6-1.
With the loss, the Roadrunners move back to a .500 record at 9-9 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
The Red and Blue took care of business to kick things off, nearly sweeping all three courts for the doubles point, with the two clinching games resulting in a 6-2 set score. Unfortunately that would be all the success the Roadrunners would find in this contest.
Hanna Haber/Victoria Ricaurte-Cabas and Kim Heddes/Kambra Roles were the two doubles pairs to capture the doubles point for MSU Denver.
Roles, Monica Guarin, and Louise Hosking all went to the third set in singles play but all fell just short.
The Eagles won all six singles matches to capture the home win.
