Corey Pemberton: Piece by Piece, invites viewers to explore an exhibition of mixed media paintings, blown glass sculpture, and quilted installations that celebrate the ordinary, the marginalized, and the deeply cherished aspects of our lives. Opening in conjunction with Piece by Piece, CVA presents Crafting the Future: Layers, an exhibition of six artists from the Crafting the Future (CTF) artist residency program in L.A. CTF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting racial and ethnic diversity within the art world. CVA's 965 Project Gallery presents Cultivating Threads of Memory, an exhibition featuring the work of Valerie C. White. Through her vibrant quilts, White weaves a story of the natural world and humanity's traditional and spiritual connections to its beauty. Curated by MSU Denver students Bridget Ebert and Alyssa Williams.   965 Project Gallery is a student-led space located within CVA providing immersive professional development opportunities to MSU Denver students interested in fine art curation and arts administration.

MUSICAL - At the dawn of a new century, everything is changing… and anything is possible. Set in the volatile melting pot of turn-of-the-century New York, three distinctly American tales are woven together – that of a stifled upper-class wife, a determined Jewish immigrant and a daring young Harlem musician – united by their courage, compassion and belief in the promise of the future. Together, they confront history's timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair, and what it means to live in America.
