- DescriptionJoin us for our second Lunch and Learn of the fall semester!<br><br><br><br>We need to do better for survivors and their children.<br><br><br><br>This workshop will provide information on the prevalence of the issue in the US and best practices for supporting survivors and their children on micro, mezzo, and macro levels through a lens of professional experience utilizing examples from research.<br><br><br><br>Free food will provided at this workshop.

Through this unique blend of mediums, L.A.-based artist Corey Pemberton delves into the essence of being and belonging. Opening in conjunction with Piece by Piece, CVA presents Crafting the Future: Layers, an exhibition of six artists from the Crafting the Future (CTF) artist residency program in L.A. CTF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting racial and ethnic diversity within the art world. Exhibiting Artists for CTF: Edmund Arevalo, Ashley Cole, Terrick Gutierrez, Adrienne Muse, Will Raojenina, Shannon Scates. The Center for Visual Art (CVA) is the off-campus art center for MSU Denver, showcasing contemporary artists whose work sparks dialogue and creates pathways to change.
