- Sep 271:00 PMAcademic Skills Workshop Series: Note-Taking and Active ReadingBy the time we get to college, it may feel as though taking notes and reading textbooks should be second nature, but often that’s not the case. The level and load of work expected of college students, along with the many other responsibilities most MSU Denver students juggle, can make it difficult to know how to take effective notes and process the mountain of course materials we encounter every semester. This workshop will focus on strategies for efficiently and effectively taking notes and processing course materials while still engaging in meaningful learning.
