Faculty Panel: Implementing 1 Book in Your Courses

    <p>Have you used 1 Book in your courses? 1 Book/1 Project/2 Transform is a common reading experience designed to connect people across campus and promote critical thinking and discussion.  Join our faculty panel to hear examples of 1Book integration from different types of courses and gain an overview and highlights of the Teaching and Learning guide created for this year’s book selection, <em>First they Killed my Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers</em>, by Loung Ung. We will save space for participants to share their questions and their own experiences with 1Book. Whether or not you have integrated 1Book into your teaching before, this session will help faculty members to brainstorm ideas and plan how they might use this year’s selection in their spring courses.</p><p>Panelists include: </p><ul type="disc"> <li>Judith Strathearn, Africana Studies, Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy  </li><li>Annie Butler, Human Services and Counseling</li></ul>
