DENVER – Over volleyball and women's soccer teams continue their seasons in the postseason. 
 
VOLLEYBALL
#8 Western Colorado vs #1 MSU Denver, Tuesday, 7 p.m.
 
After sweeping Western Colorado 3-0 last week on the road, the Roadrunners did it again on their home floor. MSU Denver claimed their first win of the RMAC Tournament taking down the Mountaineers. Riley Anderson has been a stable player for the Roadrunners, especially in keeping the momentum going contributing 16 kills to MSU's total of 52. The Roadrunners advance to the semifinals and play #4 Regis on Friday at 5 p.m. on their home court. Follow the volleyball team at RoadrunnersAthletics.Com for all of the semifinal action. 
 
#4 Regis vs #1 MSU Denver, Friday, Nov22, 5 p.m.
 
The semifinals are here for the Roadrunners and with MSU Denver as the #1 seed, they will have the advantage of hosting in front of their rowdy crowd. This will be the second time the Roadrunners will face Regis this season after winning 3-0 in October and 3-2 earlier this month. Regis is leading the RMAC with 302 total blocks for the season and the Roadrunners will have to find ways to break that down. If MSU Denver keeps the good times rolling against the Rangers, there is a big opportunity to play right back at the Auraria Event Center for the championship game against the winner of the Colorado Christian, Colorado Mesa game happening on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. 
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER
No. 6 seed MSU Denver vs No. 3 seed Dallas Baptist, NCAA First Round, San Angelo, Texas, Friday, November 22, 2 p.m. MST.    
 
In the RMAC Tournament semifinals against Fort Lewis, the Roadrunners tied 1-1 and lost in penalty kicks 5-4. Sophomore Monica Yoder hit a header that ricocheted to the back of the net to get on the board for the Roadrunners at the 49th minute. Yoder was selected for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team. With MSU Denver being among the teams on the bubble to make the NCAA Tournament, they found out Monday night that they made it in for the first time in 10 years. Not only are the Roadrunners making an appearance, but Coach Raso said they are "chasing a championship." The Roadrunners will take on Dallas Baptist in the first round. DBU is a familiar team, as they had a match-up earlier this October, tying 0-0 in Texas. The Patriots had a total of 18 shots with seven on goal while the Roadrunners had 10 and four on goal. Limiting shots while attacking the net will be key for MSU Denver, as they seek to advance to Sunday's game against #2 seed Angelo State. Head coach Kat Mertz and her squad is looking to bring home the program's third piece of hardware back to downtown Denver. (2006, 2004)
 
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL
MSU Denver at Eastern New Mexico, Wednesday, Nov 20, 7 p.m.
 
With their spotless record, the Roadrunners are headed to Portales, New Mexico to play Eastern New Mexico for the conclusion of the Region Conference Challenge. The experienced, but new to MSU Denver's program, Brayden Carter has had a drastic impact on the court, leading the Roadrunners with 44 points over the span of the three games. Senior Caleb McGill's presence on the glass is inevitable, leading the team with 32 rebounds this season. The men's team will be back on the Auraria Campus on November 29^th to compete against Saint Martin's at 3 p.m. 
 
 
Cross Country
NCAA Championships, Sacramento, California, Nov. 23
 
Mia Salas is headed to the NCAA Cross Country Championships after qualifying individually on her home course at the South Central Region Cross Country Championship on November 9th. With a time of 23:09 in the 6k race, Salas placed 33rd in a field with more than 150 runners. After slightly missing the cut last year, Mia is representing MSU Denver as the first individual female runner to qualify since 2022. This year's NCAA championship will be held in Sacramento, California at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course. The gun will go off for the men at 11 a.m. and the women at 12:15 p.m. This will be the last race of Salas' collegiate career. She will have friends and family heading out to Sacramento to support her for this monumental moment in her running career.
