- All dayMSU Denver and Rockley Family Foundation Piano and Strings SaleThe Department of Music at Metropolitan State University of Denver has had the use of new first-class pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2023-2024 school year. This arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, a non profit organization dedicated to help support music education. These instruments and instruments made otherwise available will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program and provide scholarship money for the music students. A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from such famous makers as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, Pramberger, Roland, Italia Fine Violins and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase will be considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE .* BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special “private sale” on Friday and Saturday, April 10-12, along with our faculty and staff. High schools and middle schools that work on creative writing, spoken word, and art projects will present their work at this event. Students will showcase their contributions to community service learning on campus. This is a great opportunity to meet other MSU Denver students and learn about joining the JTOH team. Support from local nonprofits, such as the Chicano Humanities Arts Council, Colorado Folk Arts Council, and local artists, helps facilitate this unique evening of art, culture, and heritage in a community setting on campus. MSU Denver students are invited to attend, and the event will be catered. To ensure we have enough food, please RSVP by 2 PM on April 4th, 2025, if you plan to attend.
