All of us are guilty of becoming "highlighter happy" (highlighting everything) at least once in our lives! Most people have a preferred way to learn, and just highlighting course readings may not be the best way to optimize learning, especially when getting ready for an exam. This workshop will focus on the actual process of understanding patterns and connections among materials, and how to approach exams with confidence! There will be an emphasis on creating graphic organizers and using stress reduction techniques to focus the mind during exams.

This session, "Building Meaningful & Reciprocal Community Partnerships," explores how to develop and sustain partnerships that align with Community Engaged Learning (CEL) principles. We are excited to have MSU Denver's community engagement professionals join us to share university-level best practices and success stories.
