Lace up your sneakers and grab your water bottle because it’s time to join the race and start training for Colfax Marathon Weekend on May 18-19.<br><br><br><br>An official charity partner since 2018, the Metropolitan State University of Denver Colfax Marathon Team, made up of more than 150 volunteers and runners, has raised over $6,000 in support of MSU Denver students.<br><br><br><br>This year’s fundraising efforts will support Roadrunners Athletics at MSU Denver. Since 1996 MSU Denver has won 44 Conference Championships, 43 regular-season championships, 4-team national championships, and 5-individual national championships. MSU Denver supports 16 teams and over 300 student-athletes competing at the NCAA Division II level.<br><br><br><br>You can join the team this year by:<br><ul><br><li>Choosing MSU Denver as your charity of choice from the drop-down menu when registering for a race at <a href="http://www.runcolfax.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">www.runcolfax.org</a> <br><br>  <br></li><li>Volunteering to staff the MSU Denver water station or table at Charity Partner Village. All volunteers will receive an MSU Denver hat and water bottle.<br></li></ul>
