This session, "Building Meaningful & Reciprocal Community Partnerships," explores how to develop and sustain partnerships that align with Community Engaged Learning (CEL) principles. We are excited to have MSU Denver's community engagement professionals join us to share university-level best practices and success stories. Key Takeaways: Learn the core elements of truly reciprocal partnerships. Understand faculty roles in co-creating enriching community-based experiences. Discover strategies for maintaining effective and long-lasting community relationships. Consider ethical aspects of community engagement. Interactive Component: Participants will engage in mapping potential community partners and drafting plans for initiating and nurturing these relationships. This session is designed to be interactive, providing tools and insights for effective community collaboration. Special Notes: Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
