Welcome New Full-Time Faculty! New Faculty Orientation is a two-day hybrid event welcoming new full-time faculty to MSU Denver. During this two day event we will: Review employee benefits Learn about student programs and resources Explore other campus and university resources Enjoy lunch with your department chair Learn about resolving conflicts Dive into accessibility at MSU Denver Hear from Bridget Arend about successful teaching, learning and design Mingle with deans at a reception and more! Make sure you also register for the following event: Lunch with Chairs - Monday, August 4th, 12pm - 1pm (Register here) We also highly recommend you register for Roadrunner Instructor Training. This two-day training is primarily intended for new MSU Denver instructors and will teach you the basics of using Canvas, as well as inclusive pedagogy and teaching and using multimedia effectively. This two-day training takes place on Monday, August 11th and Tuesday, August 12th. Note: If your are adjunct faculty, there is a separate New Faculty Orientation just for you. New tenure track and non-tenure track faculty and their department chairs are invited to enjoy lunch together as part of New Faculty Orientation. Catering By: TBD

Welcome to MSU Denver! We have both in-person and remote options for Adjunct New Faculty Orientation. This registration is for Thursday, August 7th will be remote via Microsoft Teams. The second option is in person and is being offered on Friday, August 8th. If you are interested in registering for in-person Adjunct New Faculty Orientation, please register via this link ASAP as space is limited. Please note that this is only for adjunct new faculty. This registration is for new adjunct (part-time) faculty who wish to attend New Faculty Orientation in person. If you would rather attend virtually on August 7th, please register here. Please make sure to have all your new hire paperwork completed and submitted before attending orientation. We look forward to seeing you!

This is a two-day training is intended primarily for new MSU Denver instructors. You do not need to register separately for day two. This training will teach you the basics of using Canvas, as well as inclusive pedagogy and teaching effectively using multimedia. Please note that being present for all sessions is important. If a participant absolutely must miss part of a session, we can work with that. Please contact us at ctld@msudenver.edu if you have any questions or concerns. Each day will go from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. A Microsoft Teams link for this event will be sent to all registered attendees closer to the event.
