- 1:30 PM1h 15mPresident's Speaker Series with David IgnatiusRSVP today for President Davidon's Speaker Series with novelist and Washington Post columnist, David Ignatius. David Ignatius writes a twice-a-week foreign affairs column for The Washington Post and has written 12 spy novels. Ignatius joined The Post in 1986 as editor of its Sunday Outlook section. In 1990 he became foreign editor, and in 1993, assistant managing editor for business news. He began writing his column in 1998 and continued even during a three-year stint as executive editor of the International Herald Tribune in Paris. Earlier in his career, Ignatius was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, covering at various times the steel industry, the Departments of State and Justice, the CIA, the Senate and the Middle East. This event is held in conjunction with the Tomiko Jones: The Intimate Infinite exhibition on view at CVA through March 22. A solo exhibition of photographer Tomiko Jones, The Intimate Infinite explores the complex relationship between humanity and the natural world. Jones takes viewers on a timeless journey of belonging that traverses the space uniting the vast beauty of the outdoors and the rich emotions of personal spaces. Celebrate Denver’s Month of photography with this free event that is open to the public. Space is limited, please RVSP before attending. The Center for Visual Art (CVA) is the off-campus art center for MSU Denver, showcasing contemporary artists whose work sparks dialogue and creates pathways to change. CVA offers free admission to its exhibitions for everyone.
